Apparently, this resolution is being introduced tonight, despite some opposition to it there. It may not be overwhelmingly approved like a similar resolution was in the New Albany City Council. Jeffersonville Mayor Tom Galligan is on the record as gung ho for the Bridges Project, warts (tolls...

Check out the notice on Louisville HotBytes about this fund raiser for a small business owner, Adam Tatum, who by many accounts makes the best pizza in town. His store has been closed while he has been in the hospital, and he needs our contributions to help him stay afloat.

I hope everyone reading this will try their best to drop by Derby City Espresso on October 16. The benefit starts at 8:00pm and they will have jazz music played by the Outfit.

Here's coverage of the shooting by the Courier-Journal:

Arrow "Man shot in pizza store robbery, police say"

Arrow "Oak Street shooting victim stable"

A Facebook event has been set up for this benefit.

It looks like you can drop by DCE during its normal business hours on 10/16 (11am to 10pm) to drop off your donation. Part of this effort will include a silent auction.
