I have just created a Facebook event for this bus tour. If you plan on going, and you want a good way to tell all your friends about it, please RSVP at this Facebook event, and then invite your friends.
Note: RSVPs won't secure the reservation. The only way to do that is by sending $25 for each attendee to the address in the first post above.

The parking and starting point information has been changed in the Facebook event. It now reads as follows:
The parking will be at the Concordia Lutheran Church parking lot at Broadway and Barrett. Participants can also park in the lot behind the old Mercy school but we could not secure permission to use the school's parking lot.
The tour will begin at Cave Hill at 8 am and then we go to Concordia Lutheran Church to board the bus at 9:45 am for the driving part of the tour.

Bryan Bush, who is leading the Louisville During the Civil War Bus Tour, just told me the bus is half full — which means we have another half to fill!
Here's more from Bryan himself:
"The clock is ticking down and the tour will soon be here. I am real excited about the tour and thankful for the cooperation the sites we will be visiting have given me. Remember that there are only 55 spots on the bus, so send in your reservation check as soon as possible. Also, even though I will have snacks on the bus, you may want to bring a lunch with you on the bus, since we will be going non-stop from 8 am until 2 PM."
To RSVP, send a check for $25 payable to the “Louisville Historical League” to P O Box 6061, Louisville, Kentucky 40206. For more information, email the League at LouHist@Hotmail.com.

Looks now like i could go, but not sure I'd want to park that far away from the cemetery.

Well, I would say you can park anywhere it's legal to park. The parking the tour has set up is for everyone's convenience so that they don't have to go around hunting for a spot.
